The map...
I drew this map during the planning phase of Jacobus' "Footsteps to Good Hope" hike. It started small with little info - and it grew as the planning progressed.
Jacobus just finished his third shift today - 90km done and dusted. He sleeps in Port Nolloth tonight. Looking at this map, this is both an amazing feat as well as a daunting reality... 887.5km still to come. As we talked during his rest day (Sundays are set aside for rest) he already has the most fascinating stories to tell (see the post earlier today). We'll be able to fill a book when - Lord willing - he ends his epic hike on January 13th.
